Fees Free support for tertiary learners has moved to Inland Revenue.

Inland Revenue is now responsible for supporting tertiary learners with final-year Fees Free information, assessing learner eligibility and paying entitlements.

Fees Free covers fees for the final year of study or final two years of work-based learning, up to $12,000. The aim is to motivate and reward learners to complete their first qualification or programme, and reduce the overall cost of their study or work-based learning.

Learners pay their study or work-based learning fees when they enrol. After completing their qualification or programme they can apply for Fees Free.

Learners can get Fees Free information at Fees Free – Inland Revenue.

We are still the point of contact for tertiary education providers

The Tertiary Education Commission looks forward to continuing its Fees Free relationship with tertiary providers.
