Industry Skills Board submissions open until 18 February
The Tertiary Education Commission (TEC) is facilitating the submission process for three additional members for each of the new Industry Skills Boards (ISBs). Both nominations and expressions of interest are welcomed from industry bodies, employers, employees and iwi partners.
The Tertiary Education Commission (TEC) is facilitating the submission process for three additional members for each of the new Industry Skills Boards (ISBs). Both nominations and expressions of interest are welcomed from industry bodies, employers, employees and iwi partners.
Candidates should have strong governance and change management skills, a background in industry, and an understanding of education and training.
Industry-nominated members will work alongside the current appointees, which are either Ministerial appointees or members of the previous ISB Establishment Advisory Groups (EAGs) appointed by the current boards.
Previous nominations do not automatically roll over
All candidates for the current board member appointments must complete a new submission, including anyone who has already been nominated or applied for the earlier ISB Establishment Advisory Groups and ministerial appointments.
