TTAF list of qualifications and programmes

TTAF list of qualifications and programmes

Last updated 17 August 2020
Last updated 17 August 2020

Below is the current list of qualifications and programmes that are covered under the Targeted Training and Apprenticeship Fund. This list is most relevant to provider-based training. We are still working through the industry training (work-based) list of programmes with the transitional Industry Training Organisations (TITOs).

These qualifications are part of the initial target areas, announced by Education Minister Hon Chris Hipkins, where demand from employers will continue to be strong or is expected to grow during New Zealand’s recovery from Covid-19.

As previously indicated, Micro credentials in the targeted areas (at sub-degree levels 3-7) will also be eligible for TTAF. In addition all apprenticeships existing as at 1 June 2020 (effectively April 2020 for TEOs using the SDR) will also be eligible, with further apprenticeships included at the TEC’s discretion.

We will update this list and consider other qualifications and programmes, which meet the programme eligibility criteria and where TEC has discretion, to be included over time.

Refer to www.careers.govt.nz for more info on courses and career options. Please contact your local NZIST subsidiary, wānanga or private training establishment to ask how you can enrol in these programmes and qualifications.
