Te Pūkenga has this week started engagement on its operating model Tā tātou huarahi | Our pathway: Te Pūkenga organisational direction and design.

Acting Chief Executive Peter Winder says the organisation is seeking feedback on its proposed leadership structure, business groups and regional divisions for Te Pūkenga.

He says the main priority is receiving feedback from kaimahi (staff) in Te Pūkenga Network.
This includes Te Pūkenga’s Institutes of Technology and Polytechnics (ITPs), Transitional Industry Training Organisations (TITOs), Work Based Learning (WBL) business divisions, Te Pūkenga business divisions and National Office.

He says other stakeholders can provide comment on the organisational direction and design by completing a questionnaire or by emailing feedbackom@tepukenga.ac.nz.The feedback period ends 2 September 2022.

“By bringing together Ako Delivery Networks (teaching, training, learner wellbeing and employer functions) and regions, we are proposing a unified structure that will build on the strengths of on-the-job, on-campus and online vocational and applied learning,” Mr Winder said.
