Simplifying New Zealand qualifications and other credentials consultation has closed
The New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA) consultation on simplifying New Zealand qualifications and other credentials ran for seven weeks and closed on 16 June. This consultation sought feedback and public input on three proposals regarding the design, system development and management processes for qualifications and credentials.
NZQA has received 74 written submissions and 353 online survey submissions. Thank you to everyone who has participated in the process, and especially to those who have provided feedback.
What happens next?
NZQA and the Ministry of Education are currently analysing the feedback received. A summary of responses will be available on the NZQA website later this year.
