Employment English (Writing Focus) (Level 4)

The purpose of this micro-credential is to strengthen learners’ proficiency in Employment English, with a particular emphasis on professional writing skills.
Employers consistently report that written communication such as reports, proposals, emails, and documentation is one of the most critical yet under-developed competencies among graduates. By allocating 15 of the 40 credits to employment writing, this micro-credential ensures that learners can produce clear, accurate, and professional written texts that meet workplace expectations. In addition to writing, the programme enhances fluency, accuracy, and comprehension across reading, listening, and speaking, preparing learners for a wide range of employment and professional contexts in Aotearoa New Zealand and globally.
