English for Work
This English for Work course is for those with a low to medium level of English, who need to improve their English and gain experience to get work in New Zealand. This course includes general English, numeracy and te reo Māori components as well as NZQA unit standards which lead to two training scheme certificates in work-relevant unit standards around customer service, work experience and health and safety. One of the higher level courses includes two weeks of experience in a New Zealand workplace. Based in Wellington, Lower Hutt and Porirua. Each course is five mornings and/or afternoons per week.

Individual Tuition
Our PELT programme is open to adults at all levels (beginner – advanced) and is designed to support migrants in focusing on everyday English through to academic English and workplace communication. Either one-to-one or small group (family) tuition is available that is learner centred and provided by qualified teachers at our offices or in local community spaces, depending on your needs.
