Independent Tertiary Education New Zealand (ITENZ)
Independent Tertiary Education New Zealand (ITENZ) is New Zealand's largest private training establishment (PTE) membership association, with approximately 140 member PTEs. The majority are TEC funded. Most of these PTEs receive under $5m in TEC funding, apart from eight of their members who receive more than $5m. ITENZ has a Board with nine members, most of whom own or are employed by a PTE.

Industry Skills Boards (ISBs)

The purpose of the Intensive Literacy and Numeracy (ILN) Fund is to fund TEOs for the intensive provision of high-quality literacy and numeracy learning opportunities within an appropriately structured environment.

International Standard Classification of Education. This is a classification of levels of education ranging from zero to nine.

Extended kinship group or tribe or people. Often refers to a large group of people descended from a common ancestor and associated with a distinct territory.
