How to use the interactive chart

A user guide is available on the left-hand side of the screen. It explains how to use the interactive chart and provides additional information about provider-based EPI calculations. Within the user guide, you can switch between four subpages: About, Report guide, Power BI guide, and Data dictionary.

At the top of the page, you can filter data by:

• Reporting year
• TEO
• TEO type
• Part-time/Full-time
• Ethnicity group, and
• Gender. 

The navigation panel on the left-hand side of the screen allows you to select different provider-based EPI pages. Once you select an EPI page, you can switch between “Chart view” (to see bar graphs) or “Table view” (to see underlying data).

The navigation panel also includes a “Filter bar graph” option which allows you to filter the bar graphs by TEO or Cohort.

At the top of the page, the overall EPI calculations are displayed based on the filters you have applied.

Filters remain applied when you switch between EPI pages and are not automatically reset. If the displayed results are not what you expect, check the active filters. You can clear a filter by hovering over it and selecting the eraser icon.
