$13 million in strategic funding was allocated to 61 private training establishments (PTEs) for 69 new vocational education and training initiatives and to support innovative new provision for learners.

Applications for the Private Training Establishment (PTE) Strategic Fund are now open and will close on Friday 7 July 2023 to align with the Investment Round timeline. PTEs that are eligible for funding under the UFS are eligible to apply.

In consultation with the SRG Co-chairs Professor Wiremu Doherty (Tūhoe, Ngāti Awa) and Professor Wendy Larner, we will look to appoint approximately 14 members from across the sector.
