There are seven work-based learning (WBL) divisions that sit within Industry Skills Boards (ISBs).
There are seven work-based learning (WBL) divisions that sit within Industry Skills Boards (ISBs).
These WBL divisions were formerly business divisions of NZIST/Te Pūkenga, and prior to that were Industry Training Organisations.
The WBL divisions deliver programmes that are tailored to meet the specific skill requirements of various sectors, ensuring that training is relevant and up-to-date with current industry standards. Through workplace-based learning including apprenticeships and on-the-job assessments, these organisations support learners to gain practical experience while acquiring nationally recognised qualifications, thereby strengthening the workforce and supporting economic growth.
The work-based learning divisions of the ISBs are:
