The author distribution graphs represent the number of co-authors on papers submitted to the PBRF 2018 Quality Evaluation.
How to use this visual:
Filtering this by subject area provides context to the collaboration diagram on the previous tab. This is because the size of the researcher node is proportional to the number of collaborators. In general, most subject areas have similar author distribution profiles with differences in the way the distributions tail off towards papers with larger numbers of authors.
The Authors per paper graph shows the total number of authors on the x-axis relative to the number of publications (y-axis).
