Eligibility

This is the Immigration Levy eligibility information.

We arrange funding via the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE) for Immigration Levy funding.

Immigration Levy funding provides for English language tuition support for adult migrants who have not pre-purchased English language tuition.

To be eligible, a learner must:

be over the age of 16 years old
not be enrolled full-time in secondary school, and
not have pre-purchased English language tuition (some migrants are required to pay pre-purchased English language tuition fees to Immigration New Zealand before arriving in New Zealand).
