This page sets out funding and payment information for the Adult Literacy Educator (ALE) Fund.

The Literacy and Numeracy funding mechanism is issued by the Minister responsible for tertiary education. The funding mechanism outlines the general form and essential components of the fund. From 1 January 2021 the funding rate per learner will increase by 1.6% to $2,069.

Payments are made in equal monthly instalments.
