We publish Student Achievement Component (SAC) and Youth Guarantee data three times a year. Tertiary education organisations (TEOs) submit this data through the Single Data Return (SDR).

The spreadsheet shows:

  • the total number of equivalent full-time students (EFTS) delivered in December 2017 and 2018
  • the number of EFTS estimated to match the funding allocated to the TEO (EFTS commitment)
  • a comparison between EFTS delivery and EFTS commitment.

Note:

The publication of this data on the TEC website is for transparency of funding purposes. The data is cut by funding pool allocated and EFTS, as they relate to consumption of funding. This data is extracted by funding source code in the SDR.

Total enrolment figures provided in other published documents, such as Fees-free proactively released briefings to Ministers, may differ to the figures in this spreadsheet based on the approaches used to collate the data.
