Tahatū Career Navigator empowers young New Zealanders to navigate their future.
Following its successful introduction in secondary schools earlier this year, the Tertiary Education Commission (TEC) has launched a nationwide campaign to support the public release of Tahatū Career Navigator.
Building on the momentum of the school focused rollout, this next phase expands reach of Tahatū to all young New Zealanders aged 13–25, connecting with young people through channels and messages that resonate with them, in relatable, engaging ways that spark curiosity and build confidence in planning their futures.
About Tahatū
Tahatū Career Navigator is a trusted source of career information, tools, and resources designed to help young New Zealanders explore career options and plan for the future with confidence.
The campaign
To mark the public launch, TEC has rolled out a new nationwide campaign connecting with young people where they are, whether that be online, at home or out in their communities.
The campaign features videos and imagery across Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat and Facebook plus outdoor advertising on billboards, in bus shelters, gyms, malls, train stations and at parks and sports grounds. It’s designed to spark curiosity and encourage young people to visit tahatu.govt.nz, take the Interest quiz, and start exploring what their future could look like.
