Industry Training Operational Policy – 2009 Sector Consultation

The TEC will produce a series of sector consultation papers relating to industry training operational policy.

Consultation papers will be prepared during 2009 as part of consultation on industry training operational policy.

Who can give feedback?

Feedback is sought from the tertiary education sector. Individuals as well as organisations are welcome to provide feedback.

How do I give feedback?

Please use the feedback templates provided. Please do not send a response using any format other than the feedback templates provided.

Send any feedback to industrytrainingprogrammes@tec.govt.nz. All feedback should include the subject line “ITO operational policy – feedback”.

What will happen to my comments?

Your comments will be incorporated into any final decisions made by the TEC.

This consultation paper:

  • Discusses making ITO performance information publicly available
  • Seeks feedback on options for who presents performance information and how it is presented.

This consultation paper:

  • Discusses the operational policy for approving qualifications for funding purposes. This includes operational policy for approving National Qualifications, Limited Credit Programmes and Supplementary Credit Programmes.

The purpose of this paper is to:

  • propose an indicative timeline and process, and outline the issues to be considered in relation to industry training operational policy
  • invite feedback from the industry training sector on the proposed timeline and the list of issues, and
  • outline the process for the sector to work with the TEC.
