2009 Foundation Learning Pool - additional funding round

This is an additional funding round for 2009 only as the Foundation Learning Pool will be reviewed in 2009. All investment from 2010 onwards will be made based on a revised funding framework.

Funding

Funding will be allocated at a fixed rate of $2,500 (GST excl) per learner for 100 hours of literacy tuition to be completed in 5 - 20 weeks.

All proposals will be reviewed against the requirements and priorities.

Funding decisions will be made based on:

the organisation demonstrating it meets the eligibility requirements
addressing the priorities, and
the availability of funding.

Payments

The TEC will pay TEOs in two percentage-based instalments for amounts up to but not exceeding the amount(s) specified in the confirmation of funding letter for 2009 additional Foundation Learning Pool funding.

Payments for 2009 are scheduled as follows:

At the project start date, after the TEC receives the signed funding schedule (70%)
On receipt and approval of the final report for the project (due one month after the project finish date (30%).
