Foundation and Community funds

Embedded literacy and numeracy in SAC-funded courses at institutes of technology and polytechnics, and wananga

During 2009 and 2010, institutes of technology and polytechnics, and wananga will have additional funding, allocated via a formula from the Foundation Learning Pool. This will help meet costs associated with delivering literacy and numeracy embedded in SAC-funded courses.

The funding amount is agreed between the institution and the TEC, and is for provision at certificate levels 1-3 only.
