Industry training

Standards setting

Each Industry Training Organisation (ITO) is responsible for the setting of skill standards for the industries for which it has recognised coverage. "Skill standards" means:

  1. a specification of skills, and levels of performance in those skills
  2. in relation to any industry training (or proposed industry training), a specification of some or all of the skills in which training is (or is proposed to be) received, and the levels of performance in those skills intended to be attained by people receiving the training.
