Our systems and tools are designed to help make working with us as easy as possible. This page gives you a brief overview of these systems and tools, and includes links and guidance to help you use them.

Our website

We launched our refreshed website in November 2016, following feedback from a cross-section of TEOs.

This video provides useful information about finding your way around our website. Note, since we produced this video we have made improvements to the Fund finder section (February 2018).

Services for tertiary education organisations

The services for tertiary education organisations (STEO) website is jointly managed by the Tertiary Education Commission (the TEC) and the Ministry of Education (MoE). The site provides a range of services to TEOs, including the Single Data Return (SDR), and managing courses, qualifications and delivery sites on the Course Register and the Qualifications Register.

All TEOs that receive Student Achievement Component (SAC) funding, Youth Guarantee (YG) funding, and/or have students with student loans or allowances, need to complete a SDR three times a year through the services for tertiary education organisations (STEO) website.
