Targeted training

Targeted training focuses on learners acquiring a valuable set of foundation skills that enables them to move effectively into sustainable employment and/or higher levels of tertiary education.

The Training opportunities and Youth training programmes enable those with low qualifications and those at risk of long-term unemployment to engage in further education and training. The programmes are free to eligible learners. Learners continue to receive any benefits they are on and they may also be eligible for a travel allowance.
