Community organisations
There are many community-based organisations around the country that provide tertiary education to a wide range of learners. These organisations have a variety of structures and connections within their communities to other TEOs[1].
The types of funding most commonly accessed by community organisations include:
- ACE[2] and ACE networks
- ESOL[3]
- specialist services for disadvantaged groups
- intensive literacy and numeracy provision, and
- Modern Apprenticeships co-ordination.
ACE Aotearoa represents many of the country’s ACE providers.
This website provides information for community organisations.
