2010 Regional briefings

Tertiary education need and provision in New Zealand varies significantly between regions. These regional briefings provide an accessible package of information about need and provision by region, and contain demographic information, educational attainment, tertiary achievement, youth population by ethnicity, regional employment by industry, and labour market information.

These reports will be useful background information for investment planning and forecasting trends to make informed decisions about teritary education need and provision.

These briefs contain information about EFTS delivered in each region by specific provider where the TEI's main campus is based. This information has previously been released under the OIA. 

Taken together the briefs give a useful oversight of need and provision nationally, and can be used by anyone interested in data relating to tertiary education sector across all regions.
