What is shown in your Data Accuracy Report?

ISCED level values that are missing, null, or do not agree with the Qualification Award Category code are shown in your Data Accuracy Report under the tab labelled “ISCED_ne_QACC”.

These records are qualifications where the ISCED Level value of the qualification is missing, is null, or it does not conform to the QAC code from the Qualification Register.  This classification was designed by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization so that education statistics can be compiled and presented on an internationally comparable basis.

For each of these records shown in your Data Accuracy Report, you will see that the “qualification award category code” column contains a value labelled “Unknown”, or it contains a value that does not align with the correct “ISCED level code” (as shown in the MoE’s SDR Manual; see link below).

What is the impact?

This issue does not affect your EPIs; however, an ISCED Level value is required so the MoE can carry out their international reporting obligations.

What do you need to do next?

In order to determine the correct ISCED Level for each QAC code, you will need to refer to the latest version of the MoE’s SDR Manual which provides a table of QAC codes and shows their relationship with the ISCED Level. The SDR Manual is available from MoE’s website.
