Condition EQT001: Equity funding commitments

To receive Equity Funding, tertiary education organisations must demonstrate in their Investment Plans a commitment to:

• encouraging Māori students, Pacific students, and students with disabilities (where applicable) to take qualifications at higher levels and in subject areas where they are under-represented
• ongoing engagement with Māori staff, Pacific staff, staff with disabilities (where applicable), students, iwi, and communities
• gathering baseline data on the enrolment numbers, course participation, course completion, graduation, and /or certification rates of Māori students, Pacific students, and students with disabilities (where applicable)
• monitoring progress against relevant key performance indicators and equity related performance indicators agreed in Plans.
