Rule ILN001: ILN project funding eligibility

Rule or condition
To be eligible for Intensive Literacy and Numeracy funding, projects must meet all of the following:
- Be delivered at no cost to students
- Deliver a minimum of 100 direct learning hours per individual student within a 5–20 week period (organisations can seek funding for more than one module)
- Use the Literacy and Numeracy for Adults assessment tool to measure literacy and numeracy gains and outcomes for funded learners:
- As a minimum, learners must be assessed against both the reading and numeracy strands of the Learning Progressions
- If not all strands are used for assessment, follow-up assessment must be against the same strands as the initial assessment
- For learners whose skills fall below the Learning Progressions, assessment must be against the "Starting Points" assessment guide and the numeracy strand of the Learning Progressions.
- Use an appropriate structured learning context linked to the learning progressions for gaining literacy and numeracy skills for workforce participation
- Articulate explicit learning outcomes
- Contribute to the overall network of provision.
