Tertiary education organisations (TEOs) may restrict the admission of learners through any of the following:

• Minimum entry standards for qualifications or courses
• Requirements for satisfactory academic progress
• Requirements for academic completion
• Setting admission limits in line with the TEO's Student Achievement Component funding level approved in its Plan.
