New Zealand Flooring Industry Training Organisation Incorporated

Pursuant to Section 5 of the Industry Training Act 1992, full recognition for the New Zealand Flooring Industry Training Organisation Incorporated has been granted for a period of five years, with effect from 27 November 2008 to 27 November 2013, to set standards at Levels 1 to 8 on the National Qualifications Framework for the flooring industry in the areas of production, distribution, sales, and installation of resilient/soft flooring and associated flooring surfaces excluding the production, distribution, sales, installation and maintenance of flooring surfaces such as slate, cement/clay tiles and pavers, ceramic tiles and natural stone, and liquid floor coatings, seamless flooring and screeds.

Period of recognition

The recognition for this ITO will expire on 27 November 2013.

Extension of Industry Coverage for The New Zealand Flooring Training Organisation Incorporated

Pursuant to section 8 of the Industry Training Act 1992, The New Zealand Flooring Training Organisation Incorporated has been provisionally recognised as an industry training organisation with an extension of industry coverage from 9 February 2011 to 27 November 2013 to set standards at Levels 1–8 on the New Zealand Qualifications Framework for the painting and paperhanging industry (painting and decorating) with respect to the preparation of surfaces and application of paints, coatings, coverings and associated products, including resins.
