Statutory requirements

The Crown has an interest in each TEI. Under the Education Act our Chief Executive is required to monitor the financial and operational viability of TEIs. This includes sustainability and governance considerations, as well as overseeing the Crown’s financial interests.  TEI must meet our requirements for asset management and related statutory process.
