What does study or training involve?

Study or training usually involves enrolling at a TEO[1], and will involve one or more types of learning, which can be anything from on-the-job-training or formal lectures to self-directed study. Usually you will be working towards some type of qualification.

Depending on the type of study or training you begin, you will likely need to spend a good part of every week on your courses. For many people, this means balancing work and study.

If you’re wondering what type of study or training you’d like to do or what type of careers there are available, go to: ‘What can I learn and where?’

The links below describe some common types of study or training offered here in New Zealand.
