Workforce training
There are a range of funds designed to assist employers and industry in developing the capacity of their workforce. Employers access training services through industry training and Modern Apprenticeships via industry training organisations and Modern Apprenticeships Co-ordinators.
Some funds are targeted (for example National Centre for Excellence in Wood Processing) while others are more broadly available (such as Modern Apprenticeships, Workplace Literacy or industry training). Other funds support future workers or those with low skill to develop pathways into employment (such as Gateway).
