Register of apprentices

Employers can ask prospective applicants or employees to provide evidence of apprenticeship completion. Please note that details of apprenticeships completed after 1993 are more likely to be held by the respective industry training organisation.

Individuals who completed apprenticeships prior to 1993 can fill in the request form (PDF, 62 Kb) and send it with a photocopy of their identification to servicecentre@tec.govt.nz or to:

We will search the Register of Apprentices on an individual's behalf and will inform him/her of the outcome of that search.
