February Update on Publishing Performance Information

The TEC has loaded educational performance information to Workspaces. This is based on the information provided in the December SDR by organisations that receive SAC funding. The information updates ‘analyse my performance’ and there is an updated data accuracy report on ‘view my documents’.

The draft data definition & data rules we will use for calculating education performance indicators (EPIs) have been completed. We used ITR information, submitted by industry training organisations (ITOs). We have placed a copy of the information on each ITO’s work space.

Voluntary students’ association membership legislation

The Education (Freedom of Association) Amendment Act 2011 has removed any requirement for a student to join a students’ association when they enrol at a tertiary education provider.

Employers – apply now for 2011 workplace literacy funding

A new round of Workplace Literacy funding (WPL) for employers only is now open. Applications will close 5pm Friday 18 November 2011.
