2016 April Single Data Return: Student Achievement Component and Youth Guarantee

The Tertiary Education Commission (the TEC) publishes Student Achievement Component and Youth Guarantee data three times a year.

Our data is based on data that tertiary education organisations submit to us via the Single Data Return (SDR). The data relates to Equivalent Full-time Students (EFTS) funded through the Student Achievement Component (SAC) and Youth Guarantee (YG) funds.

What the spreadsheet shows

The spreadsheet below shows:

  • the number of EFTS enrolled as at April 2016 and April 2015
  • the total number of EFTS delivered in 2015
  • the funding value of those EFTS.

Note: The April SDR was submitted two weeks earlier this year, and this is likely to have impacted on comparative numbers reported as TEOs can continue to enrol throughout the year.

The spreadsheet also shows:

  • the number of EFTS estimated to match the funding allocated to the TEO (EFTS commitment)
  • the funding allocated to the TEO (allocation)
  • a comparison between delivery and commitment/allocation.
