Long Programmes

Recognised Long Programmes were a mechanism to allow students access to Student Allowances for a package of qualifications that formed a long programme of study.

From 2013, the ability to apply for an exemption to the 200-week Student Allowance lifetime limit was removed, and so a Long Programme is no longer recognised as a programme of study from 2013.
