Sub-contracting off-Plan delivery

Sub-contracting provision for TEOs for funding not received through an Investment Plan will only be approved on the basis outlined in Condition SAC357[1].

Subcontracted provision must meet any relevant quality assurance requirements.

All provision to be subcontracted out by PTEs for delivery in region(s) where the PTE is not already delivering that provision, must be discussed with our Service Centre. We may impose conditions on subcontracting arrangements if we have concerns about the relevance, quality or delivery of the provision, or concerns about the subcontracted party.

    • The tertiary education organisation is responsible for the subcontracted provision as if it delivered it itself
    • Where a subcontracted organisation ceases to operate, the principal tertiary education organisation will provide alternative support for the learners affected until the learners have completed their programme of study
    • In the case of private training establishments (PTEs), if the subcontracted provision is to be in areas where the PTE does not currently undertake that provision, a discussion with the Investment Advisor is required.
