Out of region provision - ITPs

The tertiary education strategy and Plan Guidance outline the need for an ITP to have a specific delivery focus on its region to enable local access to appropriate tertiary provision.

This can include campus-based local foundation education, regional vocational and generic diploma and degree-level education, and offers of specialist degree and postgraduate programmes at selected main national centres.

Changes to, or introduction of delivery outside an ITP's region should be discussed with TEC Investment Managers, as part of the investment planning process. This will include how the delivery fits within the overall network of provision.

Further information about ITPs' specific delivery focus can be found in Plan Guidance.
