Youth Guarantee

Reporting

SDR reporting

Youth Guarantee students will be monitored using the SDR system. Providers will need to identify these students in their SDR returns using the new Source of Funding code provided for this purpose (code 22). This source of funding code should be used instead of the usual SAC source of funding code.

Details of the new code and associated validation rules can be found in the 2010 SDR manual that is available from the STEO website administered by the Ministry of Education.

Other reporting

  • To verify that students are not claiming any type of Student Loan through StudyLink, providers are required to complete and submit the Enrolment/Withdrawal Report forms for StudyLink cross checking purposes. These are to be submitted on a continuous basis as enrolments and withdrawals occur.
  • Youth Guarantee providers will not be required to complete and submit the first semester Youth Guarantee Report that was due 9 July 2010. The second semester Youth Guarantee Report is due 14 February 2011 and will provide additional qualitative information to the TEC
