Youth Guarantee

Reporting

Youth Guarantee students will be monitored using the SDR system. Providers will need to identify these students in their SDR returns using the new Source of Funding code provided for this purpose (code 22). This source of funding code should be used instead of the usual SAC source of funding code.

Details of the new code and associated validation rules can be found in the 2010 SDR manual that is available from the STEO website administered by the Ministry of Education.

Youth Guarantee providers will also need to provide additional qualitative information using the Youth Guarantee Report template. To verify that students are not claiming any type of Student Loan through StudyLink, providers are required to complete and submit the Enrolment Report form to us at specified times during the year.

  • Youth Guarantee providers should complete the Youth Guarantee Report twice a year.
  • Youth Guarantee providers also need to complete an Enrolment Report at specified times during the year for StudyLink cross checking purposes.
