Workplace Literacy

Reporting requirements for employers

Employers receiving Workplace Literacy funding are required to record and report the NSN[1]s of employees.

Employer Obligations

Employers are required to submit three reports for the calendar year in which funding is allocated. This includes two programme updates and one final report. The following reporting template should be used for both programme reports and the final report to provide a whole of year view of performance.

Programme reports

Employers will need to submit updates on progress in relation to the specific delivery commitments outlined in their Funding Appendix of the Agreement. These updates will include:

  • Number of learners (enrolled for the report period)
  • Learner hours (delivered for the report period)
  • Region of delivery
  • List of NSNs for all learners enrolled during the reporting period

These updates are due to our Service Centre within 10 working days of the end of the reporting period outlined in the Agreement.

Final report

Employers will also need to submit a final report on performance. This report will include the following information:

  • Total Number of learners (enrolled)
  • total Learner hours (delivered)
  • NSNs of any learners not reported in previous updates
  • Summary of learner demographics
  • Regions of delivery
  • Declaration that confirms that:
    • before and after assessments of literacy and numeracy have occurred
    • every learner’s progress has been monitored, and
    • the performance indicator(s) has been met.

These reports are due at our Service Centre within 20 working days of the end of the reporting period outlined in the Agreement.
