There will be changes to TEOC[1] funding in the future, following Budget decisions. Read more about Budget 2009 announcements.
The TEOC[1] fund comprises six elements, some of which have sub-elements. Each of these elements is presented as a separate fund. The usual TEO[2] types that access each element and sub-elements vary as follows:

TEOC funding is agreed through the Investment Plan. Delivery of the Plan is monitored by us.
Any TEO that receives TEOC funding must abide by a number of rules and conditions, including ones that relate solely to the element of funding received.
The total amount of TEOC funding available is determined via the government’s Budget process.
Access to TEOC funding is considered in accordance with government policy (as directed by the Minister’s determination under section 159L of the Education Act 1989) the Tertiary Education Strategy and in response to performance.
