Honours classification

Some TEOs[1] award honours degrees on the basis of superior achievement in undergraduate courses. These are unlikely to meet the requirements for postgraduate classification of honours’ degrees specified in Rule SAC067[2]. Those requirements relate only to the nature of the delivery and the basis of funding for such courses, and do not affect the status of the qualification awarded.
