Intensive Literacy and Numeracy

Reporting

Providers must submit three reports for the year where funding is allocated. This includes two progress updates and one final report (see Condition MOR115[1]).

Programme Reports

Providers will need to submit updates on progress in relation to the specific delivery commitments outlined in their Investment Plan. These updates will include:

  • Number of learners (enrolled)
  • Learner hours (delivered)
  • List of NSN[2]s for all learners enrolled during the reporting period.

These updates will be for the reporting periods; 1 January – 31 May and 1 June – 30 September of the funded calendar year, and are due to our Service Centre within 10 working days of the end of the reporting period.

Final Report

Providers will also need to submit a final performance report. This report will include the following information:

  • Number of learners (enrolled)
  • Learner hours (delivered)
  • NSNs of any learners not reported in previous updates
  • Summary of learner demographics
  • Regions of delivery
  • Declaration that confirms that:
    • every learner’s progress has been monitored 
    • initial and progress assessments of literacy and numeracy have occurred; and
    • the performance indicator(s) have been met.
  • Final report

Final reports are due on January 31st the year following funding.

    Condition MOR115: ILN reporting

    Tertiary education organisations (TEOs) receiving Intensive Literacy and Numeracy funding must submit three reports to the Tertiary Education Commission for the year in which funding applies. 

    This includes two update reports on the following:

    • Number of learners
    • Learner hours
    • The National Student Number (NSN) for all learners enrolling during the reporting period.

    The first and second reports are due within 10 working days from 31 May and 30 September respectively.

    TEOs will also need to submit a final report on the following:

    • Number of learners (for the contract period and year-to-date total)
    • Learner hours (for the contract period and year-to-date total)
    • NSNs of any learners not reported in previous updates
    • Summary of learner demographics
    • Regions of delivery
    • A declaration that confirms that:
      • every learner’s progress has been monitored
      • before and after assessments of literacy and numeracy have occurred, and
      • the performance indicator(s) has been met.

    The final report is due within 20 days from 31 December.
