Equity Funding

Monitoring and reporting

Monitoring

All tertiary education organisations (TEOs) that receive Equity Funding will be monitored against the performance commitments relating to Māori and Pasifika students or students with disabilities agreed with us through Investment Plans.

If the TEO has not met the required levels of performance, the TEC may:

  • use the level of performance to inform future funding decisions
  • recover funding if the TEO has not met a condition of funding imposed in its Investment Plan funding approval letter.

Reporting

Each TEO must collect and retain the information specified Single Data Return (SDR) in accordance with any conditions on reporting, and the SDR Manual and its appendices.

See Condition EQT001.

Reporting template

TEIs receiving Equity Funding for students with disabilities are required to provide an annual report on the ways in which they use the funding using the reporting template below.

Reports are to be submitted through Workspace 2 by 5pm, 28 February 2017.
