3 August 2011
In this update: Plan submissions, Youth Guarantee and Workplace Literacy funds, Accessing Workspaces
Last month we updated organisations on Plan information and sent initial allocation letters to those who receive the following funds:
- Gateway
- ACE in Schools
- ACE in Communities
- Student Achievement Component (SAC)
- Foundation-Focused Training Opportunities (FFTO)*
- Intensive Literacy and Numeracy (ILN)*
- Adult Literacy Educator (ALE)*
From today, organisations that received a letter can now submit their plan and will have until Friday, 19 August 2011 to do so.
*If you receive FFTO, ILN or ALE funding, it’s anticipated you will be able to submit your plans in the next few days. We will advise you once the online tool is available for these funds. Note, the plan submission deadline will remain the same (19 August).
We encourage organisations to prepare submission information now, so it can be submitted promptly once the Plan submission online tool is available for these funds.
Information on Plan Guidance for 2011 is available.
Youth Guarantee and Workplace Literacy funds
If your organisation received an initial allocation letter, but also receives one/or both of these funds, you must still submit your plan information for the funds you have received an allocation for.
We will re-release your plan back to you once allocations for Youth Guarantee and Workplace Literacy have been applied.
We expect to advise initial allocations for these funds later this month.
ESAA login – Workspace access
The Plan submission tool is accessed through Workspace. To access Workspace you will need an ESAA (Education Sector Authentication and Authorisation) login.
Please ensure an appropriate staff member has an ESAA login. You may need to set up new logins and arrange for any logins that are no longer used, to be deleted.
Further information about getting an ESAA login is available on the STEO website.
Please contact our Service Centre on 0800 601 301 or email if you have any questions.
