The Literacy and Numeracy for Adults Assessment Tool will be available for use in March 2010.
The Assessment Tool will provide robust and reliable information on the reading, writing and numeracy skills of adults which educators will then use to better meet the needs of their learners.
2010 will be an exploratory year for the TEC, organisations and educators using the Assessment Tool. Organisations are encouraged to work with the tool to see where and how it will work best in their context.
In order to access the tool, organisations must sign an Acceptable Use Agreement which outlines how the assessment tool can be used by organisations and outlines the principles of acceptable use.
