Three PBRF consultation papers released and decisions on peer review panels and conflict of interest policy

13 July 2015

The TEC’s Performance-Based Research Fund (PBRF) Sector Reference Group (SRG) has now released three more consultation papers.

  • The SRG’s eighth consultation paper is the first part of the review of the assessment framework and focuses on potential high-level changes.
  • The ninth consultation paper reviews the audit process for tertiary education organisations and sets out a proposed approach to this process.
  • The tenth consultation paper looks at the draft technical specifications for the 2018 Quality Evaluation information technology system, and is supported by a suite of technical documentation.

The SRG has also considered the feedback received on the peer review panel establishment and conflict of interest policy consultation paper and made recommendations to the Tertiary Education Commission.

The support from the sector and other stakeholders means that we will start the panel nomination process in August 2015.

The new consultation papers, details of our decisions and a summary of the feedback received can be found on the PBRF SRG consultation papers web page.
