28 August 2012
We intend to publish on our website the 2011 educational performance information for Student Achievement Component (SAC) funded tertiary providers on Thursday 6 September 2012.
We are giving tertiary providers the opportunity to view the 2011 educational performance information in its final format before we publish it. The information will be available on providers’ Workspaces on Monday 3 September 2012. We will include contextual information alongside the performance figures. The information is confidential until publicly released on our website.
Providers have already seen the final educational performance data, which we loaded onto Workspaces previously, along with the data accuracy reports. The final Plan Commitment Progress Monitoring Reports for Tertiary Education Institutions are also available, however we are still working on these for Private Training Establishments and will advise you when they are available.
On the day these reports are released, we will also update our website with 2011 data for educational performance by type of tertiary provider and priority group.
Providers with less than five EFTS; and the earthquakes in Canterbury
Private Training Establishments with less than five EFTS (Equivalent Full-Time Students) have been removed from the comparative performance section. Some organisations may find that their relative position has changed even though their performance figures have not.
We have added a note with the performance information to advise that the associated effects of the earthquakes may have had an impact on 2011 student performance for education providers delivering in Canterbury. Organisations that have their main campus in Canterbury or who have contacted us about the impact are listed in the note. Additional information will be provided on our website.
We will send another notice on Monday 3 September 2012, confirming the reports are available on the ‘analyse my performance’ section of Workspace.
