Updating providers about progress on the 2012 Plan process and when finalised funding decisions for 2012 will be made.
Plan process
We are currently working with providers to finalise their 2012 proposed Plans. We would like to express our appreciation to all providers for their efforts and cooperation throughout this process.
We expect to make final funding decisions for the majority of providers in the PTE and community education sector from early to mid-November.
Providers can expect formal notification of their 2012 funding before the end of November. We will notify you as soon as this information is available.
2012 PTE additional SAC process
Earlier this month, we advised that Budget 2011 set aside an additional $5.25 million of SAC funding (approximately 750 EFTS) from 2012 onward for high-performing PTEs. The application window opened on 18 October.
As of today, 77 users have registered with a number of completed applications already submitted. PTEs are reminded that applications for this process close on 1 November 2011 and will not be accepted after that date.
Once the application period closes, we will begin assessing the applications and advise all submitting PTEs of our decisions. For successful PTEs that have an existing Plan in place, an update process will be required so the new funding can be reflected in their Plans. More information on that will be provided closer to the time.
