Deputy Chief Executive of Operations resigns

22 June 2016

Our CE Tim Fowler has announced today that Deputy Chief Executive Operations Gus Gilmore has resigned to take up a new role at Manukau Institute of Technology.

Announcing the resignation, Tim Fowler said, "Many of you will have had dealings with Gus, and I am sure you will have found him as professional and courteous to work with as we have."

Gus joined TEC in February 2014 after a long career at Air New Zealand and since that time has been a key member of TEC's senior management team.

During that time he has overseen a number of important pieces of work including our move to an investment approach, the establishment of COREs and enhancement of our monitoring work.

He leaves to take up the role of Chief Executive of the Manukau Institute of Technology in Auckland.

We look forward to continuing to work with him in his new role.
